Metro mass buses rebranding saga
By PIAC   Posted date: 15th January 2016

Controversy over the spending of Ghc 3, 649, 004 on rebranding 116 buses of the Metro Mass Transit Company Limited was generated in parliament when the 2015 Annual Report on Petroleum Funds was submitted to the House. Sections of the public are of the opinion that this constitutes a waste of petroleum funds. Others are questioning from which of the priority areas outlined in the PRMA this allocation was assigned. Does the procurement process ensure value for money and does this constitute judicious use of petroleum funds? What is your opinion?
